I’ve worked as a book editor since 2008. I was an editor at Penguin Random House Canada until 2016, when I joined Page Two. I am currently Editorial Director at Page Two, where I edit books and have the pleasure of managing a team of whip-smart freelance editors. In 2020, I won the Tom Fairley Award for Editing—the most prestigious award for book editors in Canada.

Though I’m proud of being a generalist editor, I specialize in hard-hitting non-fiction in numerous categories, including memoir, business, tech, activism, sustainability, and “big ideas.”

Books I’ve worked on have become #1 national and international bestsellers, and won the Scotiabank Giller Prize, RBC Taylor Prize, Governor General’s Literary Award, BC National Award for Canadian Non-Fiction, Hilary Weston/Rogers Writers’ Trust Prize for Literary Non-Fiction, Banff Mountain Book Award for Adventure Travel, Kobo Emerging Writer Prize, and Edna Staebler Award.

Here are some of the books I’ve acquired and/or edited (substantive/developmental editing).
